Monsoon ends, campgrounds open October 1, 2015 by Rebecca Smith (Oct. 1, 2015) -- As the monsoon winds down, new campgrounds are opening up in the Chiricahua National Monument at Bonita Campground. As of Sept. 25 the campgrounds are ready for winter campers.
