Campers rescued as Squamish Valley floods

(Sept. 22, 2015) — Seven campers were rescued Sunday due to heavy rains and flooding in the region, the Squamish Chief reported. Squamish Search and Rescue (SSAR) manager Katy Chambers told The Squamish Chief that five adults and two children were rescued by helicopter.
