Gator shot trying to snatch dog at Fisheating Creek

(June 16, 2015) -- A camper at the Fisheating Creek Campground in Palmdale, Fla., reportedly shot an alligator after it took hold of his dog sometime last week, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission reported.
