809km New Zealand motorhome journey for hope

(Jan. 13, 2015) -- Gary Somner, a 62-year-old former mechanic and self-confessed jack of all trades, from Waipu, New Zealand, will drive his motorhome from the Whangarei Police Station to Wellington - 809km - as the support vehicle for cancer survivor Anton Kuraia who will be walking the distance raising awareness for alternative treatments.

SSI: Motorized Sales Rolling; Up 14.2% for Nov.

November motorhome retail registrations grew 14.2% compared to the same period a year ago while sales increased 15.1% year-to-date, according to the latest report by Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI).
