Fallen trees spur closure of Kahuku campground

(Nov. 21, 2014) -- Due to recent tree-falling incidents, Malaekahana State Recreation Area's Kahuku section is closed until further notice, state Department of Land and Natural Resources officials said Thursday afternoon.
