Lake Powhatan to open earlier than ever

(Feb. 19, 2014) -- Bill Harrison, the winter caretaker for the Forest Service campground, Lake Powhatan, N.C., is sure the campers will come when the lake and campground open March 1, the earliest opening date ever.
