Ala. city steps up to keep campground open

(Nov. 8, 2013) -- The Army Corps of Engineers had planned to shut down White Oak Park for the winter because of ongoing federal budget wrangles. But the City of Eufaula has stepped up to provide services that will allow the park to remain open, reports the Eufaula Tribune.
