Dedication ceremony for new Ga. state park to be held Sept. 16

(Aug. 14, 2013) -- A public dedication ceremony for the new Don Carter State Park on Lake Lanier is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 16. Gov. Nathan Deal will speak at the 11 a.m. event, and guests are invited to enjoy the park’s beach, boat ramps, playground and trails afterward.
