Portion of Alaska’s Johnson Lake Campground closed

(July 19, 2013) -- The west loop of the Johnson Lake State Recreation Area campground will be closed now through Sep. 30, 2013 for renovations. The renovations involve rebuilding campsites, installing new picnic tables and fire rings, improving traffic circulation, and providing better walking trails.
