Campgrounds at Wis.’s Merrick State Park closed

(July 2, 2013) -- Recent rains have caused the Mississippi River, which is adjacent to Merrick State Park, to rise and as a safety precaution, the south, group and island campgrounds will be closed, Department of Natural Resources officials announced Monday.
