Wis. DNR approves purchase of campground for trail

(June 28, 2013) -- On Wednesday, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources approved the $182,800 purchase of the 78-acre Manitou Valley Campground, located eight miles south of Superior, to extend the North Country National Scenic Trail, reports the Superior Telegram.
