Flooding closes Iowa’s George Wyth State Park

(May 22, 2013) -- George Wyth State Park in Black Hawk County closed at 6 p.m. Tuesday due to flooding from the Cedar River, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources has announced. Campers who have reservations are being contacted and offered a full refund.
