Fixing Newfound Gap Road will cost millions, says NPS

(Jan. 30, 2013) -- Officials with the Great Smoky Mountains National Park have taken the first steps toward rebuilding the 200-foot section of Newfound Gap Road (U.S. Highway 441) that was swept away by a landslide Jan. 15, reports the Knoxville News Sentinel.
