U.S. producer price index recorded 1.1 percent jump in Sept.

(Oct. 12, 2012) -- Rising energy prices supported another monthly increase in the U.S. producer price index in Sept. 2012. The all-items index rose 1.1 percent in the month, which was slower than August's 1.7 percent surge, but faster than market expectations for a 0.8 percent gain.

Canadian labor productivity revised higher in recent years
