Navistar announces public offering of common stock

(Oct. 24, 2012) -- Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV) today announced the commencement of a public offering of approximately 10,000,000 shares of its common stock. In addition, the company will grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to approximately 1,500,000 shares of common stock.
