Campers begin rolling into Athens, Ala., for Fiddlers Convention

(Oct. 3, 2012) -- Each year, the population of Athens increases by several thousand people as RVs roll into town for the Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention. The 46th annual convention will be held this Friday and Saturday, reports The Birmingham News.
