Calif.’s Sequoia National Park turns 122

(Oct. 3, 2012) -- The Sierra Nevada mountain range has been admired by humans for thousands of years, but it was until President Benjamin Harrison signed a bill authorizing Sequoia National Park on Sept. 25, 1890, that the site was protected for future years of admiring visitors, reports The Epoch Times.
