N.M.’s Pecos Canyon will not become a state park

(Aug. 22, 2012) -- New Mexico State Parks Division director Tommy Mutz said funding is so tight, that there is not enough money available to make Pecos Canyon a state park, reports the Alamogordo Daily News.
