Calif. RV owner discovers RV park contract is tough to cancel

(Aug. 7, 2012) -- For years, Roseville retiree Basil Deem cruised the country with his longtime companion in their 37-foot motorhome, reports the Sacramento Bee. An RV park membership gave them access to dozens of resorts around the country, but when Deem became disabled and could no longer handle the RV lifestyle, he discovered he couldn't cancel his $99-a-year membership.
