Low rates creating controversy with B.C. campground operators

(Aug. 6, 2012) -- Campers involved in certain events are allowed to camp overnight at Beban Park in Nanaimo. The city charges $20 per camper, a price that hasn't kept up with inflation, and some campground operators say it's costing them business, reports the Nanaimo Daily News.
