Former Patrick Industries owner endows scholarship

(July 16, 2012) -- The former owner of Elkhart-based Patrick Industries Inc. is endowing a scholarship for $4.5 million at Indiana's Ivy Tech Community College, North Central Region. Mervin Lung and his wife, Dorothy, are also challenging the community to match the funds in order to build a lean manufacturing training center at the Elkhart County campus.
