Kansas rejects bill involving state park passes

(May 2, 2012) -- The Kansas City Star reports that the Kansas Senate has rejected House Bill 2729, which would have allowed residents to buy yearly state park passes with their vehicle registration, but also would have eliminated half-off discounts for seniors and the disabled.
