Elkhart’s electric hopes fizzle as RVs come back

(March 6, 2012) -- When demand for RVs all but came to a halt during the recession, Elkhart, Ind., started looking for ways to boost the area's manufacturing industry. Electric cars were supposed to revive the economy, but the jobs never materialized. Now the city is starting to improve, with the RV industry again leading the way, reports KUHF-FM.
