Siuslaw National Forest cost cutting to affect volunteer hosts

(Feb. 13, 2012) -- From Oregon, the Siuslaw News reports volunteers who serve as campground hosts and caretakers at Siuslaw National Forest recreation sites were informed this week that as of April 1, they will no longer receive a daily allowance to help with expenses.
