Flexsteel reports earnings improvement for 2Q, year

(Feb. 3, 2012) -- Flexsteel Industries, Inc. reported net sales for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2011 of $85 million compared to $82.8 million in the prior year quarter, an increase of 2.6 percent. The Company reported net income for the current quarter of $2.9 million or $0.42 per share compared to net income of $2.1 million or $0.31 per share in the prior year quarter.
